Who Will You Sponsor In the Blogathon?

I've learned of an event called the "Blogathon". Once a year, bloggers can commit to staying awake for 24 hours and blogging... and, like in a real-life walk-a-thon or other "a-thon", others can sponsor them with donations. The donations are then sent to a charity of the blogger's choice!
I started reading about the Blogathon because I thought it would be a fun way to raise some extra funds for our children's organizations. But unfortunately I am not going to participate this year, because I will be at the BlogHer Conference, which is conveniently located in Chicago this year, during the weekend that the Blogathon is going to be held. (It will be held on July 28th.)
However, I thought I'd steer you, my kind readers, towards some Blogathon participants who will be blogging for children's charities!
Note... some of these bloggers have created blogs specifically for the Blogathon, so if you view their blogs, you might not see anything at all yet!

There are a lot of other bloggers participating in the Blogathon... these are only the ones I found that are blogging for organizations that serve children! All you need to do now is browse through these bloggers, look over the other bloggers at the Blogathon website, and decide who you're going to sponsor!

Next year, for sure, I'll be blogging in the Blogathon, too!

Great listing of those blogging for children's charities. I would love to participate, but can't this year. I'm keeping it in mind for next year.

Have fun at BlogHer! Wish I could go.
