National Foster Care/ Missing Children Month

Dear everyone,
Child Abuse Awareness has come to a close, and this month we have two new issues to learn about. May is both National Foster Care Month, and National Missing Children Month. So I'll be splitting the profits from this month of blogging, between Foster Club and the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children.
Most people probably know that the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children is a national organization that works to protect children from becoming abducted, and to find missing children. And Foster Club is a website that provides support to children and teenagers in foster care, encourages them to learn about the foster care system and act as advocates for their own needs, and more. Hopefully this blog will be able to make at least a small difference for each of these organizations!
So, for weeks One and Three we will be concentrating on foster care issues, and for weeks Two and Four we will concentrate on missing children issues.
Please keep coming back each day to see what is new! Just by reading this blog, you are helping to make a difference!
See you soon!
